Class Descriptions

MOMMY AND BABY YOGA:

This is a beautiful class that combines yoga, breathing exercises and play to get back in shape and stretch your body while strengthening the bond between you and your baby. Experience flowing postures, and calming restorative time in a playful and safe environment for babies. Learn Baby Yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns, and help your baby towards their next stage of development. Dads and caregivers are also welcome.
This class is good for 6 weeks to new walkers.

KIDS YOGA 3-6 YEARS OLD

45 minutes
This is a playful class that encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. We play music, listen to stories, explore new postures and play yoga in this energy releasing class.

KIDS YOGA 7-11 YEARS OLD

45 minutes
Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and meditation techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, music, and breathing.

TEEN YOGA

45 minutes or 1 hour
Learn some tools to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression, and other challenges facing teens. Practice breathing techniques to calm, energize, and balance the nervous system, learn challenging yoga poses, partner poses, and deep relaxation. In this class students will develop compassion, self-confidence, self-awareness and increase muscle tone.

FAMILY YOGA

45 minutes
This is a yoga class for the entire family. Partner poses are emphasized, ensuring great bonding time. Families play yoga games, explore yoga postures, practice breathing exercises while sharing love with their own family and others families in the community. Self-expression through yoga is encouraged.
