Years ago Ana felt a need to change her direction in life to improve her relationships with others and to increase her self awareness. Ana moved to Atlanta leaving her birthplace of Guatemala and started a process of healing. While living that process, inspired by her cousin and teacher, Alexia Bauer, Ana discovered yoga. Through the practice of yoga, Ana increased her sense of self awareness which improved her life, permitted her to forgive herself and others, and to live life more fully.
Ana is an activist in searching to be the best that she can be in order to help and inspire others to do the same. She is highly moved by different causes. One of them is to help children. She possesses a great ability to communicate, interact and understand children in a very special way. Ana also feels strongly about helping women to heal and improve their lives. She is very thankful for all her teachers and feels fortunate to have practiced with so many amazing people like Alexia Bauer, Sean Corn, Graham Fowler, Elizabeth Nix, Suzanne Sterling, Hala Khouri and Craig Hanauer.
Ana holds many certifications including 200h Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, Children Yoga Teacher, Children With Special Needs Yoga Teacher, Reflexology, and Reiki.
